Scaia: the Valpolicella that doesn't take itself too seriously
Mention Valpolicella and most people think Amarone: deep, ceremonial, serious wine. The Castagnedi brothers — the four siblings behind Tenuta Sant'Antonio — showed that the same region can be light on its feet too.
That's what the Scaia range is about: fresh Corvina, floral Bianca, easy-going Rosato — by-the-glass pricing, modern labels, everyday occasions. The kind of wine a restaurant can pour by the glass without hesitation, because it moves; and the kind a guest remembers, because it drinks better than its price suggests.
At the other end of the scale sit Amarone and Ripasso — same family, same philosophy. On a wine list, Scaia is the weekday and Amarone is the occasion. We bring both.
