Behind LuckyMind is a founder who has been bringing brands into Hungary since 2017 — and who learned how brands are built at scale before that.

The story didn't start behind a bar. It started at multinational companies, where our founder worked as a product and marketing lead and saw from the inside how a large organisation builds a brand: with strategy, numbers and patience. Then he took that knowledge somewhere his heart already was, to drinks.

In 2017 he founded his first import company, which became the Hungarian distributor of Hayman's, Knut Hansen, Three Cents, Del Professore, Muyu, Italicus and Goslings. Several of them were introduced to Hungary for the first time, brands that have since become global names. We didn't guess. We tasted.

In 2024 that company merged into one of Hungary's most important drinks wholesalers and lives on as its spirits division. That's why LuckyMind has, from day one, direct access to 1,800 premium venues and shelf presence in the major chains. Within the same group, this team also builds brands like Amaro Montenegro, Vecchia Romagna and Select in Hungary.

And because the best school is still the bar: our founder spent years as co-owner of one of the country's best bars, which also made the world's top five hundred. We're still on first-name terms with the Hungarian bartending community.

  3. 2024Merger into a leading drinks wholesaler: instant on-trade reach.
  4. 2025LuckyMind is founded, with Gruppo Caffo 1915 and Tenuta Sant'Antonio.
  5. TodayThe list is growing. So is the freezer.
